About the Role : REHWA is seeking

two Program Officers

to support the Executive Director in the planning, coordination, and execution of key organisational priorities. One role will have a stronger focus on

operations, production, artisan livelihoods, and programme implementation . The second will have a stronger focus on

marketing, exhibitions, market development, customer engagement, and institutional outreach . Both roles require hands-on professionals who can work closely with artisans and internal teams, manage multiple priorities, maintain strong systems and reporting, and ensure effective follow-through. Experience in rural livelihoods, handloom, craft,



textiles, social enterprise, or related sectors is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities : Programme Planning & Execution Support the Senior Management in translating annual priorities into clear plans, timelines, targets, and responsibilities. Coordinate assigned programmes and ensure timely execution and follow-through. Maintain project trackers, calendars, MIS, and progress reports. Identify implementation issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.

Artisan Engagement & Livelihoods Build solid working relationships with weavers and artisan families. Coordinate artisan meetings, training, welfare initiatives, and feedback processes. Track participation, work continuity, earnings, training, and other livelihood indicators. Support initiatives to strengthen skills, productivity, and next-generation engagement.
