The Front-End Development Team Lead plays a critical role in managing and guiding the Front-End Development team to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role is responsible for creating, organizing, and implementing processes to ensure efficient team performance. The Team Lead will design and implement front-end architecture, maintain coding standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. As a mentor and leader, the Front-End Team Lead will foster team development while contributing directly to the design and delivery of robust, scalable, and user-friendly front-end solutions for Mercans' cloud-based Payroll, HR, and Recruitment software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Management and Leadership:
- Plan and manage the workload of the Front-End Development team, assigning tasks effectively.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Define team goals and monitor progress, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes for recent team members.




- Strategically manage team resources, structure, and workflow.
- Development and Delivery:
- Design and implement engineering, architecture, and coding standards to streamline development processes.
- Write clean, maintainable, and secure code for front-end applications.
- Contribute to the timely delivery of critical projects while ensuring high-quality output.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize front-end solutions and infrastructure.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Coordinate communication between Front-End and other teams (e.G., Back-End, UX/UI Design) to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve overall system usability.
- Conduct code reviews and share best practices within the team.
- Work closely with the project team to translate business requirements into feasible technical solutions.
