Summary:
- The Network Administrator provides day-to-day management of the Lexitas Network Infrastructure systems (networks, cloud connectivity, security, communications, and related areas).
- Performs central administrative and network support activities for the entire company.
- Responsibility includes both on- prem and cloud Infrastructure.
- The Network Administrator is a member of the administrative support team and is responsible for training and assisting other support staff with network support.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure systems availability and reliability (network, email, all systems servers, backups, etc.)
- Ensure secure environment provided via network security tools and settings, email security tools and settings, IDS/IDP tools and settings, security solutions, and related items
- Communications and messaging solutions
- Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues
- Maintains network performance by network monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning;
troubleshooting networkproblems, escalating problems to other administrators and vendor
