Role Overview

We are looking for a energetic and result-oriented Sales Account Manager to drive ANSYS product sales across start-ups, SMBs, MSMEs, incubation centres, accelerators and emerging-technology companies in the North & East Region.

The role focuses on acquiring new customers, developing relationships within the innovation ecosystem and increasing the adoption of ANSYS simulation solutions through suitable start-up, subscription and commercial licensing programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive ANSYS product sales across start-ups, SMBs, MSMEs and emerging engineering companies.
- Identify opportunities through incubators, accelerators, start-up missions and industry associations.
- Develop relationships with founders, R&D; Managers, Engineering Heads, Managing Directors, incubator managers and other key decision-makers.
- Build a qualified pipeline through prospecting, campaigns, events, networking and referrals.
- Understand customer engineering requirements and recommend suitable ANSYS products and licensing options.




- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to proposal, negotiation and order closure.
- Coordinate product demonstrations, technical discussions and proof-of-concept studies with Application Engineers.
- Conduct webinars, workshops and outreach programmes for start-up and SMB communities.
- Build partnerships with government start-up missions, innovation programmes and incubation centres.
- Develop existing accounts through renewals, upgrades, additional licences and cross-selling.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals and follow up on purchase orders and collections.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and forecast information in the CRM system.
- Achieve assigned targets for new customers, product revenue and qualified pipeline.
- Travel regularly across the assigned territory for customer and ecosystem engagements.
