We are looking for an experienced Business Development Head – Education Loans to lead growth and expansion of the Education Loans business. The role will focus on developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, strengthening distribution channels, and creating a scalable education-finance ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across Education Loans, Education Finance, Retail Lending, or Consumer Finance, combined with a proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships, channel development, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the business development strategy for the Education Loans vertical.
- Identify new opportunities across universities, colleges, educational institutions, coaching institutes, and education ecosystem partners.




- Build and manage strategic relationships with institutional partners, aggregators, fintechs, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
- Develop current sourcing channels and strengthen existing distribution networks.
- Identify new markets, customer segments, geographic opportunities, and avenues for business expansion.
- Drive market penetration, customer acquisition, loan sourcing, and disbursement growth.
- Develop strategic partnerships to increase sourcing volumes and strengthen distribution.
- Work closely with Product, Credit, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Marketing teams to develop customer-focused lending solutions.
- Drive business performance across sourcing, disbursement, revenue, portfolio quality, and profitability.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing business development and channel team.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer behaviour, and industry developments.
