About the Business: Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components. Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management ICs, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCUs), and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand across automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications, and artificial intelligence markets. Space Responsibilities: Workstream Leadership & Technical Governance Lead the assigned product engineering workstream, integrating SME inputs and presenting technical recommendations at management review gates.



Review and approve the technical basis of estimate prior to submission to bid management and costing teams. Drive evidence-based technical and commercial decision-making throughout the proposal lifecycle. RFQ Review & Solution Development Review RFQs, drawings, specifications, BOMs, data packages, and customer standards to identify technical gaps and develop structured clarification lists. Define workstream solutions, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, risks, mitigation plans, and implementation strategies. Translate customer requirements into compliant, cost-effective, and executable manufacturing solutions. Mechanical Design Assurance & Industrialization Lead mechanical design assurance activities across the product lifecycle. Drive datum architecture development, RSS and worst-case tolerance stack-up convergence, and design robustness validation. Ensure design manufacturability through PFM
