About the Role: Statiq is looking for a product-minded SDE II who can take ownership of building and scaling reliable software products in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for taking features from problem understanding and technical design through development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring. This is a full-stack engineering role with strong emphasis on Python backend development, while also requiring hands-on contribution to React and TypeScript-based applications. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to translate business and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.



The role also offers an opportunity to leverage AI-assisted development tools and LLM technologies to improve engineering productivity and build AI-powered capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Own product features

end-to-end , from understanding the problem and defining the technical approach to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring. Design, develop, and maintain

scalable backend services, REST APIs, integrations, and database-driven applications

using Python. Build reliable asynchronous services and APIs using

FastAPI/Flask

and modern Python engineering practices. Contribute to frontend development using

React and TypeScript , enabling the team to deliver complete full-stack features. Design and implement systems with appropriate

caching, queues, retries, idempotency, transactions, and failure-handling mechanisms . Work with MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB while ensuring effective data modelling, query p
