Early Years Coordinator / Head of School Job Purpose To create a nurturing, stimulating and inquiry-rich learning environment that supports the holistic development of young learners. The Early Years Teacher will facilitate play-based and concept-driven learning in alignment with IB Early Years principles, encouraging curiosity, independence, creativity and social-emotional development. Key Responsibilities Plan and facilitate

age-appropriate, play-based and inquiry-based learning experiences

for Kindergarten students. Develop engaging learning experiences around

concepts, themes and real-world connections . Support children's

social, emotional, cognitive, physical and language development . Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom setting that encourages

exploration and independent learning .



Observe students closely and use observations to understand their interests, strengths and learning needs. Document and assess student learning through

observations, portfolios, learning stories and other age-appropriate assessment methods . Encourage students to develop

communication, collaboration, creativity, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills . Integrate

stories, art, music, movement, sensory activities, outdoor learning and hands-on experiences

into classroom practice. Foster the development of

and age-appropriate approaches to learning. Differentiate learning experiences to address

diverse learning needs and abilities . Maintain regular and constructive communication with

parents/guardians
