This Position reports to: R&D; Team Lead Your role and responsibilities : You will be joining as a Software Test Engineer in the Traction Division, based in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will work closely with global engineering teams supporting controller modernization, embedded software migration, customer project customization, type testing, and system validation activities for auxiliary power conversion systems. You will be responsible for migrating legacy customer applications to new hardware platforms while ensuring functional compatibility, product quality, regulatory compliance, and successful deployment in applications. LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion Business Traction Division in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for: Test Requirement Analysis, Manual Testing, Test Automation code development in Python activities in line with the quality management system. Maintains the test defect logs captured during the testing and testing automation development of the assigned product. Supports the Product owner in coordinating to provide and receive the technical inputs for the project and resolving the technical issues with the architecture and development teams. Prepare the detailed usecase for the requirements and defects Develop testcases in optimized way to cover functional and system test and Maintain test setting and lab.
