Role Overview We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience to validate an Endpoint DLP/security product across Windows and mac OS. The role will focus on end-to-end functional, integration, network, security, and interoperability testing. The engineer should have a valuable understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), endpoint security, and networking concepts and should be comfortable troubleshooting issues using logs, network captures, and system-level tools. Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end testing of the Endpoint DLP product on Windows and mac OS. Validate agent installation, uninstallation, upgrade, authentication, enrolment, configuration, and policy synchronization. Test DLP policies for allow/block scenarios using sensitive and non-sensitive data. Validate DLP detection for data such as PII, PCI, PHI, credentials/secrets, source code, and confidential information. Test data movement through prompts, file uploads, and other supported application workflows. Validate traffic interception and routing between the endpoint, secure tunnel,



cloud gateway, DLP services, and destination applications. Verify that monitored application traffic is correctly intercepted while unrelated traffic is not impacted. Perform network-level troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, netstat, nslookup/dig, curl, ping, traceroute , or equivalent Windows/mac OS utilities. Validate Wire Guard/VPN tunnel connectivity, routing, DNS, TLS/certificate behavior, and network recovery scenarios. Analyze endpoint, agent, service, driver/network extension, and cloud-side logs to identify the source of failures. Perform negative and recovery testing including service crashes, network disconnect/reconnect, reboot, sleep/wake, authentication failures, backend unavailability, and configuration failures. Perform compatibility and interoperability testing with enterprise security products such as Zscaler, Crowd Strike, VPN/SASE, EDR, or similar endpoint/netwo
