Our engineering organisation supports two products: the Platform (our core domain registrar and marketplace business) and Vibe, our AI-powered website builder.Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Executive (US-CPA) to take on a mid-level leadership role within our Pune finance team. This role requires a seasoned skilled with deep expertise in core financial operations, month-end close, and business reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process ensuring highly accurate financial reporting.
Oversee journal entries, adjustments, accruals, and provisions. Reconcile and analyze complex account balances.
- Mid-Level Leadership: Guide and mentor junior finance team members. Drive cross-functional collaboration, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement process improvements for business continuity.
- Reconciliation & AP/AR Management: Oversee bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations. Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle, vendor compliance, and accurate receivables aging/collections.
- Strategic Finance & Ad-Hoc Operations: Partner with internal stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Prepare executive-level financial reports and insights to drive critical business decisions.
- Compliance: Enforce adherence to financial regulations and internal company policies, ensuring pristine documentation and audit readiness.
