pharma& is looking for a talented AI & Machine Learning Intern to join our team in Hyderabad.

This internship is designed for candidates with a robust technical foundation in artificial intelligence and machine learning who are looking to apply their skills to real-world business problems.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate practical experience through academic, personal, open-source or professional AI/ML projects.

What you will work on

As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to AI, machine learning and data-driven initiatives, potentially including:
- Developing and evaluating machine learning models
- Exploring Generative AI and Large Language Model applications
- Working with structured and unstructured data
- Supporting proof-of-concepts and AI prototypes
- Data preparation, exploratory analysis and feature engineering
- Experimenting with LLM APIs,



open-source models and AI development frameworks
- Exploring Retrieval-Augmented Generation, semantic search and vector databases
- Supporting the development of scalable AI and analytics solutions
- Working alongside colleagues across data, analytics, digital and business functions

Qualifications

Candidates should have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree, or currently be studying towards a degree, in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field
- Strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn
- Hands-on experience with at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, probability, statistics and mathematical concepts relevant to machine learning
- Demonstrated experience building, training and evaluating machine
