He / She should have robust modelling skills & is experienced in using simulation tools to solve complex engineering problems & prove the hypotheses. Correlate the actual application conditions into simulation models. Use best practices & knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Works independently & able to guide others.
Mandatory Skills
Perform finite element analysis (FEA) for structural, thermal, and fatigue evaluations of components and assemblies
Hands-on experience with Ansys and Hypermesh
Develop and validate simulation models using tools such as Ansys, Optistruct, or similar platforms
Conduct mesh sensitivity, convergence studies, and validation checks to ensure model accuracy
Prepare technical reports and presentations for engineering and leadership teams
Desired Skills
Working knowledge of fatigue life estimation using nCode or Hyperlife or FKM guidelines
Knowledge of CAD Tools (SolidWorks) / space claim is a must.
Experienced in FE meshing.
Strong fundamentals of structural mechanics, elastomers and polymers
Knowledge of optimization tools (e.g., optiSLang, Optistruct)
