Role Overview
nWe are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to join our Audit service line. The successful candidate will manage audit engagements from planning through completion, supervise team members, and support the delivery of high-quality work for clients operating primarily within the financial services sector.
nThe role is suited to an audit skilled who understands regulated financial businesses, complex financial products, and technology-enabled operating environments.
nKey Responsibilities

- Manage audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, completion, and reporting.n
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ business models, products, systems, governance, internal controls, and regulatory environments.n
- Identify and assess risks relating to financial instruments, valuation, revenue recognition, impairment, custody, regulatory compliance, and safeguarding of client assets.n
- Prepare and review audit plans, working papers, financial statements, and client communications.n
- Evaluate accounting treatments,



management estimates, control frameworks, and significant or unusual transactions.n
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, ethical requirements, and firm quality procedures.n
- Manage engagement timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables, escalating significant matters promptly.n
- Supervise junior team members and provide effective coaching, review, and feedback.n
- Communicate clearly with client finance teams, management, and other stakeholders.n
- Coordinate with valuation, tax, technology, and regulatory specialists when required.n
- Support audit quality initiatives, training, and the use of audit technology and data analytics.n

nQualifications and Experience

- n
- A recognized professional accounting qualification, such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.n
- Relevant external audit experience within a professional services firm.n
