About the Role :
Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans across the facility.
Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards.
Conduct regular fire risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, and gap analyses to identify and mitigate fire hazards.
Maintain and monitor the effectiveness of fire detection, alarm, suppression, hydrant, sprinkler, and firefighting systems.
Coordinate periodic testing, preventive maintenance, and certification of all fire protection equipment and systems.
Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, including fire drills, mock exercises, evacuation plans, and incident response activities.
Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Liaise with local fire authorities, regulatory agencies, insurance representatives, and external emergency service providers.
Conduct fire safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.




Manage and develop the fire safety team, ensuring competency, readiness, and compliance with established procedures.
Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to fire safety requirements, permit-to work systems, and protected work practices.
Maintain fire safety records, statutory documentation, audit reports, and compliance registers.
Support business continuity and crisis management initiatives related to fire and emergency situations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fire safety performance and emergency response capability.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Fire Engineering / Fire & Safety Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Diploma in Fire & Safety Management from a recognized institution.

Required Skills

Certification in Fire Prevention, Fire Protection Systems, or Industrial Safety.
Knowledge of National Building Code (NBC), Factory Act, Gujarat
