About the Role We are seeking an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day office accounting operations. The candidate will work full-time from our office, maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions, and maintaining close coordination between our field site engineers, external CA/senior accountants, and management. Strong ethics, accuracy, and self-direction are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Bookkeeping & Vouching:

Maintain and update daily ledger entries, cash books, bank accounts, and petty cash transactions. Process, verify, and archive vendor invoices, site bills, purchase orders, and expense vouchers.
- Site & Team Coordination:

Coordinate daily/weekly with Site Engineers to track site expenses, local material purchases,



contractor payments, and site petty cash distribution.
Collaborate with external accountants/CAs to ensure timely submission of financial data for GST filing, TDS compliance, and audits.
- Financial Records & Reporting:

Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and site ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Prepare basic monthly expense reports, payroll processing data, and financial summaries for management review.
- Documentation & Filing:

Establish and maintain clean, organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial documents, tax records, and receipts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a relevant degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience (experience in construction, civil engineering, or project-based accounting is a strong plus).
