nPosition Overview:
nCyient Semiconductors is looking for an experienced Director – IT Systems Infrastructure & Administration to lead and manage its IT infrastructure, systems administration, and engineering computing environments.
nThe role will be responsible for defining the infrastructure strategy and ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of critical systems supporting global semiconductor engineering teams.
nThe ideal candidate will have solid experience across Systems Infrastructure, Linux Administration, Virtualization, Storage, Networking, Security, Automation, and Engineering/EDA environments , along with proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
nKey Responsibilities

- Lead the overall Systems Infrastructure and Systems Administration function.n
- Define and execute infrastructure strategy, architecture, modernization, and capacity plans.n




- Manage Linux-based enterprise and engineering infrastructure supporting semiconductor development.n
- Oversee compute, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, networking, and infrastructure security.n
- Support semiconductor and EDA engineering environments, including compute infrastructure and license management.n
- Drive infrastructure automation, standardization, monitoring, and operational excellence.n
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, security, and business continuity of critical infrastructure.n
- Lead and mentor Systems and Infrastructure teams and act as a senior technical escalation point.n
- Partner with Engineering, Security, and global IT teams to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.n
- Manage infrastructure vendors, technology partners, budgets, and strategic initiatives.n
- Drive incident management, root-cause analysis, risk management, and continuous improvement.n
