Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Group Head – Media Planning & Buying to lead media planning, strategy and client relationships across a portfolio of brands. The role will be responsible for driving digital media solutions across brand (majorly) and performance (minority) mandates, leading teams, managing senior stakeholders and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end media strategy and planning across Search, Social, Programmatic, Display, Video, Affiliates and other digital channels.
- Own senior-level client relationships, acting as a strategic partner and primary escalation point.
- Develop annual, quarterly and monthly media plans, including forecasting, budget allocation and growth opportunities.
- Drive campaign performance against key business objectives including ROAS, revenue, reach, conversions, CPA and ROI.
- Lead performance reviews, business reviews and strategic presentations with senior client stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for account growth,



cross-selling and new business development.
- Lead and mentor team - ensuring quality, efficiency and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Analytics, Creative, Content, Technology and Platform teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Stay updated on media/platform innovations, emerging channels and industry trends and translate them into client opportunities.
- Ensure strong governance, process adherence and operational excellence across accounts.

Key Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in digital media planning, preferably within a media/digital agency.
- Solid expertise across Google Ads, Meta, DV360, Programmatic and other digital media platforms.
- Experience managing both performance and brand campaigns.
- Proven experience independently handling large enterprise clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of media strategy, budget planning, forecasting and performance optimization.
