WE’RE HIRING | FASHION DESIGNER – PARV

PARV, a premium menswear brand by Sutra Men’s Studio, is looking for a Fashion Designer to join our team in Indore.

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of men’s fashion, fabrics, styling and garment execution who can work directly with customers and turn their requirements into well-designed, customised outfits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and customise menswear based on the customer’s requirements, occasion, body type, fabric and personal style
- Create and suggest formalwear designs on the spot during customer consultations
- Guide customers on outfit design, fabric, styling, fit, colours and detailing
- Understand customer requirements and convert them into practical garment designs
- Develop customised and bespoke formal, wedding, festive and occasion wear
- Work closely with the tailoring and production team to ensure designs are executed accurately
- Coordinate on fittings, alterations, finishing and final product detailing
- Keep up with current Indian and international menswear trends




- Contribute new design ideas and product concepts for PARV
- Interact directly with customers and support sales by presenting suitable designs, fabrics and styling options

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Designing, Apparel Design or a related field
- Previous skilled experience in fashion designing, preferably in menswear
- Strong knowledge of men’s fashion, styling, fits, colours and garment construction
- Strong knowledge of premium and luxury fabrics and international fabric houses such as Zegna, Loro Piana and similar brands
- Good understanding of fabric suitability for different outfits, occasions and seasons
- Practical knowledge of tailoring, stitching, industrial sewing machines, handwork and garment finishing
- Understanding of how to take a design from concept to a finished garment
- Knowledge of bespoke and customised menswear
- Strong customer-handling and comm
