Job Summary
We are looking for an Engineer – ECU Hardware Design & Validation with 2–3 years of experience in automotive electronics and ECU hardware validation. The candidate will be responsible for hardware validation, circuit analysis, PCB debugging, failure analysis, and supporting ECU development activities.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment, valuable understanding of electronic circuits, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues systematically.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware validation and testing of automotive ECUs as per defined test plans and specifications.
- Analyze ECU hardware circuits and support design verification activities.
- Use laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, and function/signal generators for hardware testing and debugging.
- Perform power supply testing, including voltage, current,
ripple, transient, and load-condition checks.
- Support PCB bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze hardware failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Support identification, reproduction, and resolution of hardware issues during validation.
- Prepare and execute hardware validation test cases and document test results.
- Support environmental and reliability testing of ECU hardware.
- Work closely with hardware design, embedded software, systems, and validation teams to resolve technical issues.
- Review test results and prepare validation reports and technical documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of ECU hardware validation and testing processes.
Must-Have Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in ECU hardware validation/testing.
- Good understanding of analog and digital electronic circuits.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and other electronic test instruments.
