About the Role

We’re looking for a technically strong, hands-on Tax qualified with deep experience across GST, Income Tax and TDS/TCS.

This is not a role limited to return filing and routine compliance. We’re looking for someone who can independently deep-dive into transactions, reconcile books and statutory data, research tax positions, handle notices and assessments, prepare submissions and take complex tax matters through to closure.

The role will primarily own taxation while also supporting broader Finance, Accounts, Audit and Compliance requirements where needed.

What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end GST, Income Tax and TDS/TCS compliance, including computations, returns, payments and reconciliations
- Manage GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, ITC reconciliations, registrations, amendments, refunds and related GST requirements
- Analyse ITC eligibility, blocked credits,



reversals, mismatches and tax exposures
- Handle GST and Income Tax notices, scrutiny, assessments, departmental audits, enquiries and appeals
- Independently prepare responses, submissions, tax workings, reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Reconcile books with GST returns, TDS returns, Form 26AS, AIS/TIS, e-invoices, e-way bills and financial statements
- Review transactions, agreements, invoices and accounting treatment from a tax perspective
- Research relevant Acts, Rules, notifications, circulars and judicial precedents to arrive at technically sound positions
- Liaise directly with tax authorities, auditors, consultants and legal/tax advisors and drive matters to closure
- Identify root causes behind tax/accounting differences and recommend corrective actions
