Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong understanding of the

Government and Public Sector ecosystem and prior experience in selling advertising, branding, media,

digital marketing, communication, and integrated marketing solutions to government clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying government business opportunities,

building relationships with relevant stakeholders, participating in tenders/RFPs, and converting

opportunities into business.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with Central Government, State Government, PSUs,

Government Bodies, Authorities, and other public-sector organisations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, departments, agencies, and

decision-makers.
- Understand client communication requirements and develop relevant advertising, branding, media,

digital, social media, creative,



and integrated marketing solutions.
- Drive the complete business development cycle - from lead generation and prospect identification to

pitching, negotiation, closure, and account handover.
- Track and identify relevant government tenders, RFPs, EOI, empanelment opportunities, and procurement requirements related to advertising and communication services.
- Coordinate with internal creative, strategy, media, digital, and account teams to develop pitch presentations, proposals, campaign concepts, and commercial submissions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to government clients and evaluation committees.
- Manage commercial negotiations and ensure proposals are aligned with client requirements and business objectives.
