Program Intern – MDC Programs, AI & Automation
Location: Gurgaon
About the role
We are looking for a curious, execution-focused Program Intern to support programs across DeHaat’s MDC retail network. You will work with business and field teams to turn ideas into pilots, track execution, solve operational gaps and build repeatable processes.
An AI and technology-first approach is central to this role. You should enjoy exploring how data, AI tools and straightforward automations can improve everyday work—and taking those solutions through to actual adoption.
What you will do
- Support program execution: Translate objectives into action plans, timelines, trackers and follow-ups. Coordinate with store, field and central teams to keep activities moving and escalate blockers.
- Help run Retail initiatives: Support programs involving farmer engagement, village representatives, loyalty, hyperlocal delivery and store productivity, depending on business priorities.
- Build practical automations: Identify repetitive tasks and create workflows for data collection, reminders,
reporting and exception tracking using spreadsheets, no-code tools or basic scripts.
- Use AI in everyday work: Apply AI tools to research, analyse feedback, draft SOPs, summarise reviews and prototype solutions. Validate outputs against source data before using them.
- Track performance: Maintain accurate program data and dashboards, identify gaps and turn findings into clear actions with owners and deadlines.
- Run and improve pilots: Help define success measures, gather feedback from users, document learnings and recommend improvements before wider rollout.
- Drive adoption: Create simple guides, support user training and check whether tools and processes are being used effectively.
Who we are looking for
- A final-year student or recent graduate in engineering, business, economics, analytics or a related field. Demonstrated ability matters more than the degree.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the abilit
