Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Node.Js, TypeScript, distributed systems, microservices, and AWS cloud technologies.
The role will focus on designing, developing, scaling, and supporting highly available backend services and APIs for customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will have robust ownership of backend architecture, application performance, production reliability, security, observability, and cloud-native engineering practices.

Experience with React and/or Java/Spring Boot is a plus but not mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications
- 7–9 years of overall software engineering experience, including at least 5 years of strong backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Node.Js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservice-based applications.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.




- Experience designing and developing scalable and maintainable distributed systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon DynamoDB, including:
- Partition key and sort key design
- Global and local secondary indexes
- Query and access-pattern-based data modeling
- Performance and scalability considerations
- Strong experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Experience developing asynchronous, queue-based, and event-driven workflows.
- Experience building secure, resilient, scalable, and highly available applications.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or equivalent.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins or equivalent platforms.
- Strong experience with Git-based source control and development workflows.
- Strong understanding of application monitoring, debugging, observability, incident management, and production support.
