nKey Responsibilities
n1. RFQ Evaluation and Costing
n• Review customer RFQs and tender requirements to ensure all technical, commercial,
ncompliance, and delivery expectations are clearly understood.
n• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to
ngather inputs for accurate costing.
n• Develop and maintain robust costing models for custom assemblies, incorporating material,
nlabor, overhead, testing, packaging, logistics, and certification costs.
n• Ensure costing assumptions and pricing structures are documented and regularly updated.
n2. Cost Analysis and Commercial Assessment
n• Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs), supplier quotations, and direct input costs to establish
ncompetitive and profitable pricing.
n• Monitor fluctuations in material prices, supplier terms, freight costs, duties, and other
ncommercial variables impacting profitability.
n• Conduct profitability and sensitivity analysis to assess commercial risks and opportunities.




n• Evaluate customer-specific requirements and their impact on overall project margins.
n3. Quotation and Proposal Management
n• Prepare accurate and commercially competitive price buildup in line with company pricing
nand margin objectives.
n• Support the sales team during customer discussions, negotiations, and commercial
nclarifications.
n• Review contractual terms, payment conditions, liquidated damages, warranties, and other
ncommercial obligations prior to quote submission.
n• Ensure timely submission and follow-up of quotations to maximize conversion opportunities.
n4. Order Commercial Validation
n• Review purchase orders against approved quotations and commercial agreements.
n• Verify scope, pricing, taxes, payment terms, delivery schedules, documentation
nrequirements, and contractual commitments.
n• Identify and resolve commercial deviations before order acceptance.
