Role Overview
- The Cost Accountant will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling costs associated with events, projects, vendors, materials, and operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, profitability tracking, and MIS reporting.
- This role requires a professional who can study project costs in detail, identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain financial accuracy, and provide management with actionable insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
1. Cost Analysis & Cost Control




- Prepare detailed cost sheets for events and projects.
- Analyze actual costs versus budgeted costs.
- Monitor project profitability and margins.
- Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct detailed cost studies for events, production, logistics, and vendor expenses.
- Develop systems for cost optimization and expense control.

2. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in project budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare cost estimates for upcoming projects and events.
- Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure adherence to approved budgets.

3. Event & Project Costing
- Calculate event-wise and project-wise costing.
- Track décor, production, logistics, hospitality, manpower, and operational costs.
- Maintain detailed profitability reports for each project.
- Analyze revenue versus expense performance.
