Contractual Appointment – Renewable Based on Performance

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and academically accomplished Principal to lead and manage our Undergraduate College affiliated with the University of Mumbai . The Principal will provide academic and administrative leadership, ensure compliance with University and regulatory requirements, and drive excellence in teaching, learning, research, student development, and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership
- Provide strategic leadership for undergraduate academic programs in accordance with University of Mumbai guidelines.
- Ensure effective implementation of curriculum, academic calendars, examinations, and assessment processes.
- Monitor academic performance and promote continuous improvement.
- Encourage innovative teaching methodologies, research, internships, and industry engagement.
- Promote interdisciplinary learning and employability-focused initiatives.

Administration & Governance
- Oversee the overall academic and administrative functioning of the Undergraduate College.




- Ensure compliance with University of Mumbai, UGC, Government of Maharashtra , and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with University authorities and statutory bodies.
- Lead institutional and statutory committees.
- Ensure effective management of college resources, infrastructure, and facilities.

Faculty & Staff Management
- Lead faculty and staff development initiatives.
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and performance-oriented culture.
- Oversee faculty performance, training, workshops, seminars, and development programs.
- Ensure adherence to institutional academic and administrative policies.

Student Development
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and student-centric academic environment.
- Promote co-curricular, extracurricular, cultural, sports, and leadership activities.
