About the Role
Salute is looking for an experienced Senior EMEA Corporate Accountant to support EMEA controllership and corporate accounting across a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
The role will be responsible for core corporate accounting activities, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly reporting, financial statement preparation and review, statutory audits, and tax/VAT compliance coordination .

The position will primarily support entities across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, and Spain , while working closely with regional finance teams, Group Accounting, and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the month-end close process across EMEA entities, including maintaining and reviewing approximately 10–30 balance sheet reconciliations .
- Support quarterly reporting , including consolidation inputs, variance analysis, and reporting deliverables.
- Prepare and post accruals, recurring entries,



reversing accruals, and other ledger adjustments , with approximately 20–100 journal entries per month .
- Assist with the preparation and review of management and statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable local GAAP and group reporting standards.
- Support statutory audits and annual compliance engagements , including preparing audit schedules and coordinating responses to auditor requests.
- Work with third-party advisors on income tax and VAT preparation across EMEA jurisdictions.
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and automation initiatives .
- Partner with regional finance teams, Group Accounting, and external advisors to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Contribute to process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives across the EMEA controllership function.

Required Qualifications
