1. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical E-Commerce Accountant to manage our high-volume multi-channel financial operations and platform accounting. In this role, you will oversee marketplace reconciliations, inventory valuations, payment gateway settlements, and tax compliance across our e-commerce platforms and digital channels. You will play a crucial role in closing month-end books, analyzing channel profitability, and setting up automated financial workflows to support our growing product ecosystem.

2. Key Responsibilities
- Marketplace & Gateway Reconciliations: Resolve multi-channel lump-sum payouts (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Stripe,



PayPal) against bank records by matching aggregate deposits to order IDs, credit cards, and customer accounts.
- Fee, Deduction & Expense Booking: Track and itemize channel-specific expenses, including referral fees, payment processing charges, FBA/logistics costs, performance marketing, advertising, and promotional offer expenses.
- COGS & Inventory Valuation: Track real-time Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and value stock across multiple warehouses/fulfillment centers using FIFO or Weighted Average inventory valuation methods.
- Returns & Claims Accounting: Accurately record customer returns, Return to Origin (RTO) logistics, stock write-offs, held reserves, and chargeback dispute adjustments in the general ledger.
- Tax Compliance (GST/TDS/Sales Tax): Manage GST classification, destination-based sales taxes, TDS/TCS filings, Input Tax Credit (ITC) optimization, and cross-border customs or duties acro
