Pattern Master – Leather Garments Company: Orion Fashions / Orion CONMERX Department: Pattern / Sampling / Technical Experience: Minimum 20 Years Location: Gurugram / Manesar Job Summary: Orion Fashions is looking for a highly experienced Pattern Master – Leather Garments with robust technical expertise in pattern making, fitting, grading and garment construction. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate production-ready patterns from buyer tech packs, sketches, measurements and approved samples, while ensuring correct fit, construction, leather utilization and production feasibility. Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate patterns for men’s and women’s leather garments based on buyer specifications, tech packs, sketches and measurement charts. Handle patterns for leather jackets, coats, waistcoats, trousers, skirts and other leather apparel. Develop first patterns for sampling and modify them based on buyer/technical comments. Conduct fit analysis and make required pattern corrections after fit sessions. Ensure proper balance, shape, proportion,



ease and garment measurements as per buyer requirements. Prepare and maintain patterns for Proto, Fit, Size Set, PP and Production stages . Carry out accurate pattern grading for complete size ranges. Ensure production patterns are finalized and approved before bulk cutting. Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Sampling, Cutting, Production and Quality teams. Review buyer tech packs, measurements and construction details before starting pattern development. Identify technical issues at development stage and recommend practical construction solutions. Ensure patterns are suitable for leather characteristics such as stretch, thickness, shrinkage and panel limitations. Support optimum leather utilization by designing technically efficient patterns without affecting fit or appearance.
