Job Description
About us
nVolopay is a Y Combinator-backed start-up that combines corporate cards, bill payments, approvals, expense reimbursements, and accounting automation in one single platform.
nWe empower businesses to manage, grow and succeed with our cross-platform solution that delivers more functionality across financial operations. We are trusted by some of the top investors in the world and are being awarded as one of the most influential fintech start-ups in South East Asia.
n

nRole
nWe're looking for a Product Designer with 2-6 years of experience to join our design team. You'll own features end to end, partnering with product managers and engineers to turn complex financial workflows into experiences that feel simple. You'll shape products used by finance teams at companies across the globe.
n

nKey Responsibilities
n• Own features end to end, from discovery and research through design, prototyping, handoff, and post-launch iteration.
n• Break down complex finance workflows into clear, intuitive experiences.

n• Design for multiple user roles and edge states across web and mobile.
n• Plan and run user interviews and usability tests, and turn findings into design decisions.
n• Use product analytics and customer feedback to measure impact and prioritise improvements.
n• Partner with PMs and engineers from problem definition onward, shaping scope and trade-offs rather than receiving specs.
n• Present your work and explain your design decisions clearly to stakeholders.
n• Contribute to the Design System: build components, write documentation, and keep quality consistent across products.
n• Take part in design critiques and help improve how the team works.
n• Define interaction patterns and micro-interactions that make complex flows feel responsive and explicit, including loading, success, error, and empty states.
n• Prototype motion and transitions, and spec them clearly so engineering can build them as intended.
n• Use AI tools across you
