Job Summary
nThe Deputy Manager – Stamping is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, and supervising stamping shop activities to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, ensuring tool & machine availability, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality systems.

nMain Responsibilities

- n
- Assist in daily production planning and execution.n
- Monitor shift-wise production and downtime.n
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and take quick action on in-process defects.n
- Coordinate tool/die maintenance and machine health checks.n
- Lead root cause analysis for abnormalities and customer complaints.n
- Drive 5S, kaizen, and other lean manufacturing initiatives.n
- Monitor OEE, rejection %, rework %, and take actions to improve.n
- Train and guide operators and line leaders.n




- Support ECN implementation, new part trials, and documentation.n
- Report daily/weekly production and quality metrics to management.n

nQualifications
n
- n
- Education: B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineeringn
- Experience: 8 – 12 years in a stamping/press shop environment, with experience in a supervisory rolen
- Skills:n
- Good knowledge of stamping process, press machine operation, and tool settingn
- Understanding of quality tools (5 Why, Pareto, 8D, Poka-Yoke, etc.)n
- Solid leadership and team coordination skillsn
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP/ERP (preferred)n
- Knowledge of safety standards and machine guarding practicesn
- Role will be based in Mexico. Incumbent must be willing to relocate.n
