Role Overview
The Facets Development and Technical Lead provides technical leadership for Facets implementation, modernization, integration, and custom development initiatives. This role is responsible for designing and overseeing development solutions, guiding offshore development teams, supporting onshore development lead, ensuring delivery quality, and serving as the primary technical lead for client-facing Facets projects.
The ideal candidate combines deep Facets platform expertise with healthcare payer domain knowledge and solid leadership skills to drive successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Facets-based solutions and custom extensions.
• Define technical architecture and development standards for Facets implementations.
• Review and approve technical designs, code quality, and development approaches.
• Provide guidance on Facets data model, claims adjudication workflows, extensions, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
Development Delivery




• Direct offshore development teams and provide day-to-day technical leadership.
• Assign and review development work, remove technical blockers, and mentor developers.
• Manage software development lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and go-live support.
• Run daily standup meetings, support Agile delivery processes, sprint planning, estimation, and technical backlog management.
Integration & Custom Development
• Lead development of Facets integrations, APIs, interfaces, data extracts, and custom extensions.
• Design and oversee integrations between Facets and external applications such as Payment Integrity, claims platforms, and downstream systems.
• Develop technical specifications, mapping documents, and integration architecture deliverables.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
• Partner with solution architects, project managers, configuration leads, and client technical teams.
