Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on investment leader to build and run a co-investment vehicle, working alongside a network of venture capital partners to deploy and grow committed capital across an emerging portfolio.

Location: Gurugram - 2 years contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with country/regional teams and subject-matter specialists to pinpoint opportunities consistent with the relevant investment strategy.
- Conducting comprehensive due diligence on prospective grants and investments, covering the business model, investment partners, leadership team, impact and charitability considerations, financial viability, and risk factors.
- Managing the structuring of investments and negotiating terms and conditions.
- Bringing forward proposed opportunities to senior management and the Investment Committee for review.
- Actively and proactively overseeing portfolio investments to ensure they remain positioned to achieve impact goals and stay compliant with agreed terms.
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends, novel structures,



and transactions to shape investment and grant decision-making.
- Building relationships with partner organizations and leveraging those networks to help mobilize capital across the organization's core markets.
- Working alongside country/regional teams, subject-matter specialists, and partner organizations to spot opportunities and trends within core markets and sectors that inform strategy execution.
- Monitoring and assessing emerging sub-themes such as project development or venture capital and new financial instruments such as minimum revenue guarantees or local currency products.
- Providing broader team support, including analysis of capital deployment, portfolio recalibration, and preparation of written assessments on the execution of investment strategy.
