Job Description Summary

Advanced Lead Engineer will provide technical leadership while owning hardware on GP HPT Module. In this role, you will be responsible to maintain part for the life cycle of the engine including aspects on solving current make issues, field issue resolution, RCA, TOPS8D, QEM, Repair, and cost reduction. you will manage field issues, lead service’s contract profitability, and deliver solutions that meet business needs within functional area(s) of expertise.

In this role, you will report to GP Aft Engine LCE Design Sub-Section Manager. In addition, you will interface with organizations such as the Engineering, MRO, supply chain, CEO and services organization with aviation.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the design, analysis, test or integration of HPT structure hardware for GP program using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
- Be the first point of contact from LCE on any query from sourcing/supplier/fleet/repair/customer
- Execute & participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Collaborate and Communicate with all stakeholders on project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute programs and mentor other team members
