Your responsibilities
- You will develop and program automation logic using Valmet DNA/MCS application engineering solutions, ensuring systems meet project and customer requirements. [
- You will partner with Chief Engineers and project teams to plan software engineering scope, align delivery with contract requirements, and support successful project execution.
- You will collaborate with design, development, production, and site teams to achieve delivery milestones, maintain quality standards, and manage project risks.
- You will support pre-assemblies, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation, commissioning, I/O checks, functional testing, and start-up activities at customer sites.
- You will troubleshoot, modify, and optimize software and hardware applications, maintain project documentation, uphold site safety standards, and contribute to customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
Expectations for you
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- You bring 4-7 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably within pulp, paper, board, packaging, or related process industries.
- You have hands-on experience with PLC/DCS systems such as Siemens, ABB, Allen-Bradley, or Valmet
