Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Commis (Bakery) to join our agile culinary team in Chennai, India. In this entry-level bakery position, you will work collaboratively with our experienced bakers and kitchen staff to support the production of high-quality baked goods. As a Commis, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining food safety standards,



and ensuring that every product meets our exacting quality expectations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your baking skills in a supportive and organized kitchen environment while contributing to our commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Assist the Production and Baking team in preparing ingredients, mixing batters, and performing related duties in the bakery section
- Execute tasks assigned by the Executive Chef, Chef de Partie, or senior bakers according to established standards and recipes
- Maintain strict adherence to HACCP procedures and food safety protocols, keeping accurate records at all times
- Perform stock rotation and facilitate inventory management for assigned bakery sections
- Monitor operations to minimize food wastage and maintain cost-effectiveness in all areas
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of baked products to exceed guest expectations
