The Opportunity:
Looking for Electrical Supplier Quality experience.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Lead supplier problem resolutions, drive root cause and correction actions at suppliers and communicate
back to cross-functional team.
• Support new product development/introduction by reviewing process specifications, engineering drawings,
and first article inspections to ensure integrity and clarity.
• Drive systemic supplier process improvement plans for reducing quality defects.
• Conduct audits at supplier sites – part to print verification, quality management system review,
root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Proliferate key learnings and BKMs (best-known methods) into the Supplier Base.
• Engage in recent product development programs – providing supplier perspective into drawing reviews
and product design phase.
• Support Pilot and Volume manufactory sites as the supplier engineer for specifically assigned suppliers.
Functional Knowledge
• Design for manufacturability knowledge, knowledge of IPC-620, knowledge of UL508A MTR, knowledge of
AC Racks and Box build
• Well versed in quality management systems and methodologies.
• Value Stream Mapping experience
• Manufacturing/machining process development and qualification
• knowledge of GD&T; and Engineering Drawing Interpretation
• PFMEA knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of metrology and measuring equipment
