Summary of Role
GlobalFoundries is expanding its Tax Operations function and is seeking an experienced Tax Operations Manager – International Tax to join our global tax team. This role will lead the development and management of an in-house Tax Operations Center of Excellence (COE) to standardize, scale, and optimize global tax processes.
As part of the International Tax team, you will focus on international tax compliance, tax accounting, transfer pricing, and global tax initiatives while partnering with leadership to drive operational excellence and improve the global tax function.

Your Job (Essential Responsibilities)
- Lead U.S.



international tax compliance processes, including preparation and review of Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 1118 and related filings.
- Oversee international tax accounting under ASC 740, including accounting for global subsidiaries.
- Develop and manage transfer pricing strategies, policies, and intercompany agreements to ensure compliance with OECD and local country requirements.
- Monitor and interpret global tax law changes (e.g., Pillar Two, BEAT, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F) and assess their impact on the company’s global tax position.
- Lead the implementation of Pillar Two requirements, including data collection, modeling, and reporting processes.
- Model and track global tax positions, including forecasting impacts on the effective tax rate (ETR).
