The Role
The DSPM Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting Data Security Posture Management solutions across enterprise environments. The role focuses on discovering, classifying, monitoring, and protecting sensitive data across on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid platforms while ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) strategies, architectures,



and operating models.
- Lead data discovery, classification, and governance initiatives across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, GCP, SaaS, and on-premises environments.
- Identify and assess data security risks, including overexposed data, excessive permissions, sensitive data sprawl, and misconfigured repositories.
- Develop and enforce data governance frameworks aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and other regulatory requirements.
- Integrate DSPM solutions with DLP, SIEM, IAM, PAM, ticketing, and security orchestration platforms.
- Define remediation strategies and automate security workflows to improve data protection and compliance posture.
- Conduct security assessments, workshops, and stakeholder consultations to drive DSPM adoption and best practices.
