The Design Engineer II is responsible for preparing drawings and schematics for engineering projects, working closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies, or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex, or original designs, which require a high degree of precision using specialized equipment/tools.
This position is part of the Custom Engineering organization located in Pune and will be an in office role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What will you do:
- Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings for bioprocess equipment (e.g., skids, pressure vessels, piping assemblies).
- Develop P&IDs;, GA drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Ensure designs meet ASME, BPE, and GMP standards.
