RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a commercially driven and results-oriented Event Sales Manager to join our team in India. The role will be responsible for driving exhibitor and sponsorship sales across Messe Berlin India’s growing portfolio of B2B exhibitions and conferences.

The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with strong business development and relationship management skills, capable of developing new accounts, managing existing clients, and identifying commercial opportunities across different industry sectors.

Experience in the travel and tourism and/or fresh produce sectors would be an added advantage.

Sales & Revenue Generation




- Drive exhibition space, sponsorship, advertising, and other commercial sales to achieve agreed revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new exhibitors, sponsors, pavilions, and commercial partners across relevant industry sectors.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, referrals, industry research, networking, and market engagement.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, contracts, and commercial presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospects and existing clients to convert opportunities into confirmed participation.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell exhibition space, sponsorships, branding, and other event products.

Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, key accounts, associations, and industry partners.
