About the Role

The Principal Consultant (AE) — Growth is a revenue-generating, client-facing role at the heart of Purple Quarter's expansion strategy. You will own the full new-business cycle: identifying high-fit companies, opening conversations at the C-suite and founder level, articulating PQ's differentiated value, and converting them into long-term clients. This is not a support or coordination role — you carry a number, and you're expected to close.

You will engage with founders, CTOs, Heads of People, and VPs of Engineering — often simultaneously at the same account — and must be comfortable holding strategic conversations about hiring strategy, organisational design, and what good tech leadership looks like at scale.

What You Will Do

New Client Acquisition
- Build and execute a systematic outbound pipeline targeting high-growth tech companies across SaaS, fintech, consumer tech, and deep tech.
- Prospect and engage decision-makers—founders, co-founders, CTOs, Heads of People — through tailored outreach, warm intros, and ecosystem networking.




- Lead discovery conversations to uncover leadership hiring pain, qualify fit, and position PQ as a strategic partner rather than a vendor.
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact through proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement.

Revenue & Pipeline Management
- Maintain a healthy, weighted pipeline and deliver accurate weekly forecasts against monthly and quarterly targets.
- Consistently hit or exceed recent client acquisition and revenue targets.
- Leverage CRM rigorously—every interaction logged, every follow-up tracked.

Market & Relationship Development
- Build a reputation within the Indian startup ecosystem; become a trusted name in conversations about tech leadership hiring.
- Represent PQ at industry events, founder communities, VC networks, and leadership forums.
- Develop referral relationships with VC partners, PE firms, and ecosystem advisors who can introduce PQ to portfolio companies.
