About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong UK Payroll Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the end-to-end management of a varied portfolio of payroll clients.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.



This is a client-facing role that requires a professional approach, strong organisational skills, and the confidence to review and oversee the work of other payroll team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of UK payroll clients, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed deadlines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding payroll, HMRC matters, and related compliance requirements.
- Process payroll from start to finish, including starters, leavers, salary changes, statutory payments, deductions, pensions, and RTI submissions.
- Ensure all HMRC payroll submissions and related filings are completed accurately and within statutory deadlines.
- Prepare and review year-end payroll documentation, including P45s, P60s, and P11Ds .
