Introduction
As a Tax Operations Manager within the Indirect Tax and Special Projects team, you will collaborate with a highly experienced global tax organization and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external consultants. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with India indirect tax regulations, supporting global tax initiatives, and driving process improvements and automation across multiple jurisdictions. You will play a critical role in managing tax operations, supporting strategic projects, and enhancing efficiency through digitization and standardization.

- Manage India indirect tax compliance, coordinating with external tax advisors and internal Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate filings and payments.
- Track and follow up on indirect tax refund claims, ensuring prompt recovery and resolution.
- Partner with Finance teams to support cash flow projections related to indirect tax payments and refunds.
- Lead and manage India indirect tax audits, statutory audits, and financial statement disclosures.
- Provide support for indirect tax planning, advisory, and compliance with evolving regulations.
- Monitor recent and emerging India indirect tax legislation and ensure timely implementation of required changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc indirect tax projects and business initiatives.
- Support global tax transformation initiatives including software implementation, digitization, and automation of tax processes.
