Job Description:

An Electrical Incharge for a Cold Rolling Mill is responsible for the overall electrical operation and maintenance of the mill. This includes ensuring the safe and productive operation of all electrical equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. They may also be involved in the design, installation, and commissioning of new electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall Electrical Operation:

Oversee and manage the electrical aspects of the cold rolling mill, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.

Breakdown Troubleshooting:

Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues, including breakdowns, faults, and short circuits.

Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce and maintain electrical safety standards, including proper grounding, guarding, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Electrical System Design and Installation:

Participate in the design, installation,



and commissioning of new or modified electrical systems.

Maintain accurate records of electrical equipment, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.
