Join Splunk, a Cisco company solution engineering team supporting Public Sector customers and helping organizations address complex security and technology challenges. In this role, you’ll work closely with government and Public Sector organizations, partners, and cross-functional sales teams to deliver creative Cisco and Splunk security solutions. You’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers strengthen their security posture while driving adoption and growth across the portfolio.

Your Impact

As a Technical Sales Professional, you will:
- Own the technical relationship with Public Sector customers and partners, serving as a trusted technical advisor and primary technical sales influencer.
- Partner with account and sales teams on strategic account planning, identifying growth opportunities and aligning technical strategies with Public Sector customer objectives.
- Engage with IT and security leaders, technical decision-makers, and lines of business to understand customer environments, security challenges, business priorities,



and technical requirements.
- Translate customer business and security needs into innovative Cisco and Splunk Security solutions and lead strategic solution conversations.
- Design and present cross-architecture security solutions, demonstrations, and technical presentations that address complex Public Sector challenges.
- Lead technical engagements throughout the sales cycle, helping move opportunities from technical discovery and validation through closure.
- Leverage strong knowledge of Splunk Security technologies, including Splunk Cloud, Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, Risk-Based Alerting (RBA), Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering, Mission Control, and security analytics.
- Apply knowledge of security technologies and architectures including SOC, incident response, threat hunting, XDR/EDR, network security, cloud security, Zero Trust, and security operations to develop relevant
