About the DGM – HR & Industrial Relations Role
The selected candidate will lead the HR and Industrial Relations function for a large manufacturing operation and will be responsible for maintaining industrial harmony, managing trade unions, negotiating settlements, ensuring labour law compliance and supporting plant productivity.
Industrial Relations and Union Handling will be the core focus of this position.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of independently managing unionized manufacturing environments, conducting collective bargaining, negotiating wage settlements and Long-Term Settlements (LTS), resolving labour disputes and handling complex employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities – DGM HR & IR
1. Industrial Relations & Union Handling
- Lead the complete Industrial Relations function for the manufacturing facility.
- Manage relationships with recognized trade unions and employee representatives.
- Independently handle Union Negotiations and Collective Bargaining.
- Lead Long-Term Wage Settlements (LTS) and wage revision negotiations.
