Job Summary:
Our client is a leading PE firm, looking to hire qualified Chartered Accountants with 0-2 years of experience post-qualification for the role of Associate (Finance and Accounts) for its Bangalore office (Finance Team). The role involves working closely with internal teams and fund administrators on investor reporting, capital activities, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards.

Roles and Responsibilities of the selected candidate:

Accounting of funds and the investment manager.
The candidate should be conversant with the accounting standards, India GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.

Prepare monthly accounts of the manager.

Assist in the preparation of the monthly cash flow budget vs. actual comparison.

Ensure timely payment of tax (direct and indirect) and timely filing of tax returns (quarterly and annual) of all funds and the investment manager.

Ensure bi-monthly reimbursement of expenses and quarterly collection of management fees from funds to the investment manager.

Coordinate with administrators of funds (offshore and onshore) regularly for fund-related activities.

Prepare capital call workings and distribution workings and investor communication documents for capital call and distribution.

Prepare unit capital statements, tax estimates, and capital account summaries of the funds' investors on a quarterly basis.
