Electrical Design Engineer – Job DescriptionSummary
UST is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and validate electrical and electronic systems for complex equipment. The role involves electrical design, troubleshooting, system integration, NPI, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.
Location: Bangalore Experience: 5–10 years
The Opportunity
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical and electronic assemblies, schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architectures.

Perform electrical system analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues.

Develop and execute test plans, validation activities, and engineering evaluations.

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP).
-
Design and support power distribution, control systems, instrumentation, high-voltage circuits, I/O communication systems, cable harnesses, and electronic assemblies.

Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality,
and Supply Chain teams.

Lead engineering change activities, including ECO/ECN implementation and validation.

Maintain engineering specifications, test reports, design records, and technical documentation.

Support value engineering, design-for-cost, and product optimization initiatives.
